Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) Cave Diver
Overhead Diver Propulsion Vehicle course is designed to teach divers to properly use a Diver Propulsion Vehicle for overhead diving activities. It will discuss the configuration and the peripheral equipment, as well as accessories and maintenance. Course training will be limited to performing penetration distances that DO NOT exceed those that the student is able to safely achieve by swimming based on gas management plan. Penetration to greater distances typically requires DPV redundancy and complex gas management plans which are beyond the level of this introductory course.
STUDENT PREREQUISITES
- Age – minimum 18 years old
- Full Cave Diver Certificate
- Minimum of 50 successful logged overhead dives prior to entry to this course.

Individual course 1125 EUR + 80 EUR certificate and manuals or e-learning
Price does not include:
- Scooter rental for the course (Spain and France only) 150 EUR
- Renting a scooter for a course in other locations - at the rate of the local diving center
- Gas and required student's diving equipment
- Dive site entry fees (if required)
- Gas, absorbent, dive site entry fees and the instructor's stay costs (accommodation, flight etc - for rcourses done away from Spain)
